Solid Stone Steps
A hundred years ago, it was not uncommon to see a single slab of solid rock as a small stoop leading into a house or used as a step in a hillside, leading to the street. In the past 5 years or so, we’ve seen a resurgence of this material to handle similar grade changes. Some solid slabs are rough and irregular while others are cut to exact dimensions. There are many options. It all depends on your style. Two very different types in the photos below.
